Irvine Regional Hospital- Irvine, California
7:30 AM - Arrive at Hospital for appointment to be induced
8:00 AM - Carrie relaxed, receiving Petocin via an IV (to help start contractions)
9: 30 AM - Strong contractions start. Epidural is given.
11:00 PM - Carrie is dilated to 4.5cm.
5:00 PM - Carrie is still dilated to 4.5cm. Doctors are concerned about little progress and 6 hours of petocin and strong contractions and recommend that we consider a C-Section
7:00 PM - Carrie is dilated to 5". Doctors are optimistic about progress.
8:30 PM - Carrie is dilated to 9.75". Baby Isaac is on his way.
9:53 PM - After 47 minutes of pushing, baby Isaac is born. He weighed 8 lbs, 12 ounces. He measured 23 inches long! He's healthy, beautiful, tall and lean and looks like his mom. (I think)
Here is Isaac about 10 minutes after birth- Calmed down, relaxed and cleaned-up.
Here's Carrie and Isaac shortly after. Carrie did a GREAT job!

Congratulations!! Isaac is perfect and adorable. Great job Carrie on a long and hard delivery. You're a rock star. Can't wait to meet little Isaac.
I love the last picture, he looks so calm and safe in your arms. He is so happy to finally be with his parents
Carrie, you look great. Congrats. I can't believe how late you were. We should rub off on eachother and have kids around the due date. :D
